Brief Description:

Tiverton prospered during the 16^th and 17^th centuries during its participation in the woollen trade. Its name possibly means ‘the town on two fords’. Located in mid Devon, it is an excellent location for exploring the Devonshire countryside.

From Barnstable take the A361 travelling east into Tiverton. From the M5 take the exit onto the A361 for Tiverton.
