Brief description
Village to the North of the Isle of Wight, just south of East Cowes Town. It was formerly the centre of the Royal Estate of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert based at Osborne House.

Directions
From Newport, leave the town via the A3054 northwards signposted for Ryde. Carry on until you reach the roundabout with Junction of A3021 where turn left following the signs for East Cowes. Follow this road into Whippingham village.
From East Cowes Ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021. Follow this road out of East Cowes and just after the entrance to Osborne House turn left at the roundabout to enter the village.
From Fishbourne Ferry leave terminal on B3731 until junction with A3054 where turn right towards East Cowes. Remain on this road until roundabout with junction of A3021 which you should take to the right signposted for East Cowes. Follow this road into Whippingham village.
