Brief Description:

Prior's hall barn is one of the best surviving medieval barns in England. Built when timber was in abundance, a barn like this would signify the wealth of landowners. There is no evidence of this barn's actual age and date of construction. The tree rings suggests that they were felled in 1417-1442. Now maintained by English Heritage.
