Accessibility:

Extensive gardens, with pathways covering at least half a mile, have some very steep gradients. This presents a risk of losing tyre grip for motorised disability vehicles and handling issues to manual wheelchair users. Additional person support is recommended, with some slopes having gradients of up to 25%. Tickets purchased by disabled people unable to cope with the steep gradients will be refunded within 20 minutes of their initial purchase.Wheelchair access is good throughout the attraction’s entrance building including the gift shop. An appropriate disability toilet is provided with low level facilities and hand rails. These facilities are near the entrance and the only toilets in the grounds.

Brief Description:

Within the 4 acres of landscaped gardens is a collection of 400 model houses and buildings and 300 metres of model railway. The models form a fictitious village with churches, office buildings, thatched cottages and shops. The model village is built within beautiful landscaped gardens. One evening a week throughout the summer, the model village is illuminated with sophisticated light installations.
