Brief Description:

Canterbury Heritage Museum which hosted a vast collection of historical artefacts, closed down in 2017. Visitors have the opportunity to explore the culture and history of the city of Canterbury at nearby Beaney House of Art & Knowledge, which is an Art Gallery, Library and Visitor Information Centre situated in the heart of historic Canterbury,  https://canterburymuseums.co.uk/beaney/explore/ at 18 High St, Canterbury CT1 2BD.  It holds exhibitions, talks and workshops as well as other interactive activities for families. Until it closed for refurbishment in 2009, it was known as the Beaney Institute or the Royal Museum and Art Gallery.
