Accessibility:

The nearest disability parking is at the bottom of Charles Street (you will still need to walk through the St David’s Centre to Working Street). 

The venue has a ramp and steps on the Working Street/Cardiff Visitor Centre entrance and toilets with disability facilities, and a lift connecting the ground and basement floor. You can contact the centre for any accessibility requirements; please see https://cardiffmuseum.com/venue-accessibility/

Brief Description:

The Cardiff Story Museum is based in The Old Library in Cardiff, a Grade II* listed building located at the northern end of The Hayes in the centre of the city. It was Central Library until 1988 and now holds the museum and the city centre's main Tourist Information centre.

The museum holds many events and exhibitions about the culture and history of the area, amongst other things.

Every day: 10am – 4pm

Closed 24th December from 1.30pm, 25th, 26th, 27th December and 1 January.

Directions:

It is not possible to drive to Cardiff Story Museum as it is located in a pedestrianised area of the city centre. The closest available parking is the Westgate Street NCP – for directions to get there please see the separate venue on our website.
