Accessibility:

Roadside parking is available outside the Youth and Community Centre, however it is limited and there are no designated disability spaces. There are car parks available in Castletown with disability parking available. Access to the building is via a single door which is level to the pavement. The centre has recently been refurbished to include disability toilet facilities.

Brief Description:

Set up in response to local feedback from teenagers, this centre was opened in 2004. It is open during the evenings for 12-18 year olds and offers a wide range of activities in the gym, TV lounge and internet cafe. There is also a cafe on site which provides refreshments. All the staff employed at the centre are employed by the Department of Education and are part of a team of over 160 staff throughout the island.

Directions:

Located 10 miles South West of the capital Douglas, in Castletown. 

Follow the A5 from Douglas to Castletown. Pass the airport on your left. Then take the 3rd exit, turning right, on the roundabout on to Victoria Road. Continue to the next roundabout and take the 1st exit going straight ahead on to Bridge Street. Bare to the right over the bridge and continue on to Castle street. Continue on to Market Square and follow to Arbory Road. Castletown Youth Centre will be located on the right.
