Accessibility:
The closest car park is the Nottingham Maid Marion car park (approx 300 metres away). The ground floor of the Museum of Nottingham Life is fully accessible however there is no lift access to the upper floors of the museum or the Rock Cottage school room. There is an accessible toilet in the grounds.
Brief Description:
The Museum was once five 17th Century houses that became derelict. They were redeveloped and became a museum in 1977. Inside they have created a replica of shops and houses as they would have been in the early 1900’s. They have also recreated an air raid shelter, a toy gallery and a Victorian School room.
