Brief Description:
Hatfield Cemetery is listed with the Wargraves Commission. The cemetery contains one casualty of the 1914-18 war and 20 casualties from the 1939-45 war, 17 of whom served with the air forces of the Commonwealth. The War Memorial for Hatfield is situated in the entrance to the Cemetery. The memorial is on a two stepped base surmounted by rectangular plinth and small Latin cross on an orb.

From Doncaster via Thorne Road (7.4m). Head north-east on Prince’s Street. At the roundabout continue straight onto Thorne Road. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Thorne Road. Follow A18 to Woodhouse Lane in Hatfield. Follow Woodhouse Lane and Mosscroft Lane to Cemetery Road.
From Scunthorpe via A18 (15.9m). Take Cliff Gardens to Doncaster Road. Follow A18 to Cemetery Road in Hatfield. Turn left onto Cemetery Road.
