There are toilets including a wheelchair accessible toilet and nappy-changing facilties. A hearing induction loop is available, and there are also large print Hymn Books and Orders of Service.

Brief Description:
The Parish Church of St Mary was built in 1933. It houses a miner’s memorial sculpture by Byron Howard which was dedicated in the church in October 2010.

Prior to 2023: Keys to access the church are kept at the doctors surgery reception across the road, and are available during main working hours and Saturday mornings.
Services on Sundays at 10.30am and 6.30pm.

From Leeds via M62 (39.4m). Get on M621 from New York Rd, Marsh Ln and A61. Take M62 to Selby Rd/A614 in Thorne for 32.4 miles. Take exit 6 from M18. Continue on Selby Rd/A614. Take Sour Lane and Fishlake Nab to Field Road in Stainforth.
From Doncaster via Doncaster Road (7.4m). Head north-east on Prince’s St. Continue on Thorne Road. Take Barnby Dun Rd, Doncaster Rd, Stainforth Rd, and Doncaster Rd to Field Rd in Stainforth.
