Holy Trinity Church was consecrated in 1843 by the Archbishop of York after taking 2 years to build. In 1920 four stained glass windows were installed to commemorate the parishioners who were killed in the First World War. There is an organ in place which dates back to the 1860s and has pipes made by Schultz and Hill, and it was rebuilt at the turn of the last century by Albert Keates of Sheffield.
