Free parking is available on the road outside the church. There is also 2 hours' free parking in Market Hill opposite the church. There is level access into the church via a side door and it is generally wheelchair accessible. There are public toilets including wheelchair-accessible and baby-changing facilities. Brief Description:

St Augustine’s Church is a Grade I Listed Building with the oldest parts of the church dating back to the late 12th Century with building completed in the 15th Century. It has undergone repairs over the years. It has 19th Century stained glass windows and a medieval tall backed priest’s chair. The organ was built in 1926 by Arthur Nelson. The church is also known as the King of Holderness. It plays host to choirs for musical concerts.

Directions:

From Hull via Hedon Road/A1033 (6.2 miles). Follow A63 and A`033 to New Road in Hedon. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Garrison Road/A63. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Hedon Road/A1033. At Northern Gateway take the 2nd exit and stay on Hedon Road/A1033. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Hedon Road/A1033. At Somerden Roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Hedon Road/A1033. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Hull Road/A1033. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto New Road. Continue onto Hull Road/B1362 and go through one roundabout. Turn left onto Church Lane. Slight right to stay on Church Lane. Turn right onto Church Gate.


From Patrington via A1033 (10 miles). Follow A103 for 8.6 miles. Turn right onto B1240. B1240 turns left and becomes Fletcher Gate/B1362. Turn right onto St Augustine’s Gate/B1240. Turn left onto Church Gate.
