Brief Description:
Hedon is a Market town situated in Hull. The Hedon museum holds history of the town dating back 900 years. It was the first port on the River Humber. The cobbled market place is surrounded by historical buildings and holds its markets every Wednesday. Another place to visit close to the town is Fort Paull, originally built in 1542. It was once used as a coastal defence strategy by Henry VIII, but is now a museum depicting different periods of history.
