There is a paved alley way leading to the museum and a concrete ramp leading into the main entrance. The museum does have a chair lift for the stairs, but no lift.

Hedon Museum was opened in 1996. It is a charitable-funded museum, run by volunteers and funded by donations and grants. It has local goods and services on display, showing the towns history.

Directions:
Situated 6.1 miles from Hull. Head S on A1165/Great Union Street and take 1st exit at roundabout onto A63. Continue on A63/Hedon Road, leading onto A1033/Hedon Road. After 4.5 miles take first exit at roundabout onto B1362. Follow B1362 for 0.8 miles and turn left onto St Augustines Gate. The museum will be on your right hand side.OS TA189286.
Transport:
Buses run in and around the area, with the closest stop situated at Hedon Market Place. The museum is signposted from there. Hull Interchange is the closest train station from the museum. Buses run from here. Accessible by car, with a short stay car park situated close by. Large A boards will direct you to the museum on open days.
