Accessibility:

There is pay and display parking on Mill Street and Bridge Street. There is ramped access into the church. The church has public toilets and also wheelchair accessible toilets. They have large print Hymn books and order of service books, and they also use interpretive sign language.


Brief Description:

St John the Evangelist Church was built in 1828 and was the first church to be built in Derby after the Reformation. It is a Grade II Listed building and contains a Henry Willis organ which was built in 1875 and restored in 2010.
