Brief Description:

St Thomas RC Church was opened in 1877. In 1919 two stained glass windows were erected in the chancel of the church in memorial to those who fell in the First World War of 1914-1918. There is a cross and an anchor to represent the armed services and the Navy. The Church was made redundant in the late 1990s and is now in private ownership. It is believed the windows are still intact.
