Accessibility:

There are road-side parking spaces available along the promenade, however availability may be limited during busy seasons. A car park is located at the end of the promenade, details of which can be found here: http://douglas.im/index.php/services/car-parks. There are a number of amenities which offer toilet facilities. Public transport is available.


Brief Description:

Douglas Promenade has a wide range of activities available to entertain visitors. The seafront location is lined with Victorian hotels and visitors are able to choose from a range of eating establishments.

Attractions include a horse-drawn tram and nearby, the Manx Museum that offers free admission, where the visitor can find out about the places of Internment of civilians who were born in enemy countries during World War I and World War II, and a number of buildings and houses in Douglas and elsewhere on the Isle of Man were used for this.
