Accessibility:

Designated parking within the terminal car park. There is level access into the terminal, with double width automatic doors at the front and rear of the building. There is an accessible toilet within the terminal. Wheelchairs are available if required, and assistance can be requested in advance by calling prior to travel or when booking tickets.


Brief Description:


Douglas sea ferry terminal is run by The Steam Packet Company and is the only ferry port on the Isle of Man. It has up to 30 crossings a week, serving Liverpool, Heysham, Belfast and Dublin. There are also limited crossings to and from Birkenhead and Larne.

Opening Hours:

Open daily 9am - 6pm. Except for Christmas day and new years day.

 
Directions:

If traveling from the North, the ferry terminal is situated 15.7 miles South of Ramsey via the A18.
If traveling from the West, the ferry terminal is situated 11 miles SE of Peel via the A1.
If traveling from the South, the ferry terminal is situated 10.3 miles NE of Castletown via the A5.

Douglas bus station is located on Lord Street, approximately a five minute walk away. There is a taxi office at the front of the terminal. Short and long term parking is available with a daily charge.

There is a Costa coffee shop within the terminal, as well as newsagents, children's play area, vending machines, cash machines and accessible toilets. There are also a number of cafe's, bars and restaurants located along Loch Promenade and its surrounding streets.
