Accessibility:

Access to the church by car is extremely limited with a handful of on-street parking spaces for people with disabilities at the back of the church on Cuckoo Lane. There are many car parks within Coventry city centre, most of which offer disability spaces. The city centre is well laid out for wheelchair and disability access but the nearest car parks are not in the immediate vicinity.

There is ramped access to the church and hearing loop on site. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Brief Description:

Holy Trinity Church history goes back as far as 1113 and is linked to the Benedictine Priory of St Mary when it was likely built as a chapel to serve the priory's tenants.

The original Norman church was destroyed by fire in 1257 with only the north porch surviving. The remainder of the church was rebuilt in the 14th century. There is a famous 14th century painting of the Last Judgement above the tower arch. This is one example of what would originally have covered the walls of the church to help illustrate the bible for those who could not read.
