Brief Description:

Reginald's Tower was built in 1003 as part of the city wall. Originally built of wood, it was later replaced by stone as you see today. The tower - which has been used as a mint, a prison and a military storehouse - is 54 feet high and 42.5 feet in diameter. It now houses an exhibition on Viking Waterford.

January – early March: Wednesday to Sunday 9.30am – 5pm. Late March – Mid December Daily 9.30am – 5.30pm. Last admission 30 minute before closing.
