Situated on West Quay, St Patricks Isle, just past the Castle. Parking, Public toilets and cafe on West Quay. Accessible sandy beach on Shore Road.
Brief Description:
The Peel Lifeboat Station is one of five on the Isle of Man, it was established in 1828, the new boathouse was constructed 1991/92. It operates from within the harbour of Peel. It has a Mersey class lifeboat 'Ruby Clery' named after the great, great granddaughter of Sir William Hillary the founder of the RNLI. Situated at the far end of West Quay, it can be accessed on foot over the footbridge from East Quay, parking along quayside here, or if driving, follow East Quay or Mill Road southwards to the junction with West Quay and then continue along West Quay.
