High Street at the bottom end of the building has some designated on-street parking.

The side entrance to the building is level and flat but there are steps to the entrance onto High Street. There is disabled access to all floors and there are full disability toilet facilities.

Brief Description:

The Royal Cambrian Academy building is situated on the corner of Chapel Street and Crown Lane in Conwy. A rendered grey building with large windows faces the corner while the remainder of the academy is housed in a white, rough rendered building with Tudor style woodwork on Crown Lane.

Academy members include practising painters, sculptors, printmakers and architects, who were peer-selected to become members, with the academy itself aiming to exhibit members' works to promote up and coming artists to mount historical exhibitions and offer an educational venue.

The rise of the Conwy Valley in the 19th century as a destination for practising artists also attracted a great many tourists to the area with the nearby town of Llandudno becoming a focal point for art sales.
