Accessibility:
There is no designated parking outside the church but there is a small area of off road parking on Morthorpe Road next to the church grounds. Permission to park may be needed. Access to the church is also along Morthorpe Road via a gate with a small stone curb step. The entrance to the church faces Eastgate. Through the north door there is a small step down going into the church from flat paths. Flat floors exist within the building and access to the main congregational areas is good.
Brief description:
A 12th century church which has undergone extensive renovations during the 19th century. The north wall of the chancery has an impressive stained glass window dedicated to St Genewy.

Directions:
St Genewys Church in Scotton is 6.26 miles/10.08 kilometres south of Scunthorpe. From Scunthorpe follow the A159 south to Scotter. At the crossroads in the centre of Scotter take the turn south along High Street and Scotter Road to Scotton. In Scotton follow the road east along Eastgate and the church will become visible on the north side of the road.
