Parking is available on Church Lane. There are no disability parking bays. Flat paths lead from the lane into the church grounds with flat disability access through the tower door. There is good access throughout the church interior across flat floors and wide spaces, including the congregational areas.

 

Brief description:

A 12th century church and Grade I listed building renovated over many centuries with period features. The church is well maintained with some beautiful interior features including an impressive church organ, open balcony bell ringers’ platform, carved font, wooden panels and decorations.

Directions:

St Peter’s Church in Scotter is 6.87 miles/7.84 kilometres south of Scunthorpe. From Scunthorpe follow the A159 south to Scotter. At the crossroads in the centre of Scotter take the turn south along High Street and then east into Church Lane. The church will become visible on the north side of the road.
