The path leading to the church door is flat which has no step. Its small interior makes space limited. The church is usually locked. St John the Baptist Church in Northorpe is 7.17 miles/11.55 kilometres south of Scunthorpe. From Scunthorpe follow the A159 south to Scotter. At the crossroads in the centre of Scotter take the turn south along High Street and Scotter Road to Scotton. In Scotton follow the road east along Eastgate and turn south into Northorpe Road. Follow the road south onto Monson Road and after the road bends to the west the church will become visible on the next bend.
