Accessibility:
The church has its own car park off Hunstanton Road and there are disability toilets in the church. There is a tarmac path to the entrance, which has a wooden removable ramp over the step. The church is wheelchair accessible and has one for loan if necessary. A hearing induction loop system is in place for use during services.
Brief Description:
This 13th century church is the oldest building in the village of Heacham. The design of the church – a central tower built on the crossing – is very rare due to the strong foundations needed. Local legend says that John Rolfe brought his wife, Indian Princess Pocahontas, and their son to the church to worship; his family’s coat of arms is a feature inside the church, as well as a variety of other monuments.
