Brief Description:

St Mary’s is an ancient church which dates back to the early 14^th Century, and went through a restoration during the 19^th Century. This is a Church of England Church, with a Monument to William Dobson (former Mayor and Sheriff of Hull) dating back to 1666, and a Tudor Wall Brass from 1525.

Directions:

From Beverley 12.5 miles. Leave Beverley via the A1079. Pass through 2 roundabouts staying on the A1079. Bear left onto Mytongate, and then bear left onto A63 Castle Street. Turn Left onto Market Place. Turn right onto Liberty Lane. Turn left onto High Street. Turn Left onto Chapel Lane. St Mary The Virgin Church will be on your left.

From Barton Upon Hull 10.8 miles. Leave on the A1077 towards Hungate. Keep left to stay on A1077/Ferriby Road. At roundabout take the 2^nd exit. At the next roundabout take the 3^rd exit (toll road). Merge onto A15 then keep right onto Humber Bridge. Pass through 2 roundabouts remaining on A15. Take the sliproad left to A63/Clive Sullivan Way. Remain on A63/Castle Street. Turn left onto Market Place. Turn right onto Liberty Lane. Turn left onto High Street. Turn Left onto Chapel Lane. St Mary The Virgin Church will be on your left.
