The Twickenham Museum has limited space so can only display some of the many archives it holds about the history of Twickenham, Whitton, Teddington and the Hamptons. Twickenham is about 10 miles (16km) south west of Central London on the north bank of the Thames. The museum is opposite St Marys parish church (Church Lane runs beside the museum) a minutes walk from the Thames and Eel Pie Island. OS TQ 164 763
