Accessibility:

There is no car park for the store itself so it needs to be accessed either via public transport (there are bus stops directly outside the store) or on foot from the car parks central to Cardiff. The nearest public car park is Cardiff Westgate Street NCP (CF10 1DZ), which is opposite to Principality Stadium and has four disability spaces. However, when there's a major event in Cardiff, there can be road closures, so please check before you leave home.

The store has a level doorway, but inside there are steps up to the store itself. There is a disability lift up to the store, avoiding the steps. The store is flat with wide aisles and a wooden floor, making it easy to navigate. There are bench-type seats in the theatre area for you to watch the history of the stadium.

Directions:

The store is situated on Westgate Street in-between gates 2/3 and gate 4 of the Principality Stadium.

The Stadium is located in the centre of Cardiff on Westgate Street. From the M4 take either junction 33 from the west or junction 29 if travelling from the east.

From junction 29 – follow the A48(M) towards Cardiff E&S. This turns into the A48 and you then follow the signs onto North Road (A470) towards ‘City’. Continue along this road and it will turn into A4161 taking you past Cardiff Castle. After the castle, turn left onto Westgate Street and the stadium’s Gate 2 is on the right.

From junction 33 – follow the A4232 signposted towards Cardiff (W), follow this road until you get to a roundabout with the A48. Turn left onto the A48, still signposted to Cardiff (W). At the next roundabout turn right onto the A4161/Lansdowne Road, which will change names to Atlas Road. Continue along the A4161/Atlas Road and then turn right by Cardiff Castle into Westgate Street; and the stadium’s Gate 2 is on the right.

The WRU Store and the Stadium is located in the centre of Cardiff and can be complicated to get to by car. It is advisable to use the train, bus or park and ride.
