Accessibility:

There are narrow pavements/sidewalks through Baldrine Village, so some parts may not be wheelchair/pushchair accessible. There are no public toilets, however there is a family friendly pub with on-site parking and wheelchair access.

 

Brief Description:

Baldrine Village lies between Onchan and Laxey and is close to Ballannette Country Park which has a series of lakes. It is a registered Dark Skies Site so that visitors can enjoy the stunning stargazing on offer. The Northern Lights can also be seen on occasion. Garwick Beach can be found in the Valley of Baldrine. Baldrine Station is an intermediate request stop on the east coast route of the Manx Electric Railway in the parish of Lonan in the Isle of Man on the route to Ramsey.

Directions:

From Ramsey via A18 (24.7km). Take Poyll Dooey Road and Parliament Square to Albert Road/A3. Take A18 to Begoade Road and continue for 23.7km. Turn left onto Begoade Road. Destination will be on the right.

 

From Douglas via A2 (6.3km). Take Woodbourne Road to A2. Follow A2 to Begoade Road for 4.0km. Turn left onto Begoade Road. Destination will be on the right.
