There is a level (step free) entrance with a powered assisted push-button door operation, and Level Access.  Disability toilets/baby changing facilities are located in the Minster's Parish Hall near by.  There are two designated Disability parking spaces allocated within the Minster's car park.  Assistance dogs are permitted at all times.  Hearing loop system is available during service times.

Brief description:

Beverley Minster(*) is a Grade I listed Gothic style church and is dedicated to St. John and St. Michael. It has been a site of worship since 714 AD when Bishop John of York founded a monastery. The present building was built between 1190-1420 and is one of Britain's finest examples of early English, Decorated and Perpendicular Gothic architecture.

From Hull via A1079 (10.7 miles). Follow George Street/A165. Turn left onto New Cleveland Street.A1165. Follow Stoneferry Road to West Carr Lane. Take Stockholm Road to Ennerdale/A1033. Follow A1033 and A1079 to A164 in Beverley.

 

From Pocklington via A1079 (17.5 miles). Take The Balk/B1247 to A1079. Follow A1079 to A1174 for 14.2 miles. At Killingwoldgraves Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A1174. Turn right onto North Bar Within/A164.
