- Burnham-on-Crouch Library has a small carpark for library users with one designated disabled parking bay directly adjacent to the building and to the library's concrete disabled access ramp leading to the entrance/exit. There is a metal handrail on one side of the access ramp.
- The entrance/exit has automatically opening double doors leading to a level reception area beyond. The entrance is accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams.
- The venue has level access throughout for library users.
- A Hearing Loop is available at the Reception.
- The interior of the library is well lit.
- Toilets - no toilet facilities are available for customers.

Burnham-on-Crouch is in the Maldon district of Essex , approximately 20 miles from Chelmsford. From Chelmsford: Take either: A414 then B1010 to Burnham-on-Crouch, or alternatively take the: A1114, A130, Burnham Rd/A132, B1012 and B1010 to Burnham-on-Crouch.
Travelling towards Burnham-on-Crouch town centre from Chelmsford: Follow directional signage on B1010, turn right on to the B1021( Station Road) for Burnham-on-Crouch town centre. Proceed towards the town centre and after passing the turning for Burnham-on-Crouch Railway Station , Burnham Library is approximately 0.1 miles (0.1 -0.2 km)from the Station on the right-hand side of the road at the junction of the B1021 (This section of the B1021 is Station Road) with Millfield Road and also situated opposite the junction with Western Road, which will be on your left if travelling towards Burnham town centre.
Travelling from Burnham-on-Crouch town centre: Proceed on the B1021 (High Street) for approximately 0.4 miles (0.7 kms). This section of the B1021 becomes Station Road. The library will be situated on your left , just after the junction with Millfield Road; opposite the junction with Western Road. . The library car park is situated adjacent to the library building.
Opening Times
Normal Opening Days/Times: Tuesdays (0900-1700), Thursdays (0900-1900) and Saturdays. (0900-13.00 hours). Burnham Library is closed on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Not open on Public Holidays/Bank Holidays.
However prior to travelling, please ensure to check directly with the venue for up-to-date information on opening times (n.b. as at Spring 2021 - the UK Government's National 'COVID-19' restrictions have been applicable to the availability of amenities and other venues, including libraries, which are closed.)

By Rail - Nearest Railway Station: Burnham-on-Crouch Station, Station Road, Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, CM0 8BQ. The Railway Station is approximately 0.1 miles (0.1/0.2 kms from Burnham Library. Burnham Railway Station is operated by Greater Anglia Trains and is the penultimate stop on the Crouch Valley line from London Liverpool Street Station. Approx. 50 minutes journey from London Liverpool Street Station. Burnham Station is manned part-time only. Level access available to the station which has a single platform. Refreshments kiosk. No toilet facilities available. There is a Hearing Loop to the Help Point on the Station.
By Bus : Bus Routes 31/31C/31B/31X operated by First Essex Buses (Service between Chelmsford to Burnham-on-Crouch) operates along the B1021 - and stops near the Library on Station Road.
