Brief Description:

Cregneash Village is in the far south of the island overlooking the Calf of Man.  It is a living village, portraying the traditional way of life of a 19th century Manx crofting community. Visitors can explore former crofters' cottages, watch traditional farming methods and skills in action and see indigenous Manx animals such as the Loaghtan sheep and Manx cats.  Detailed information can be found on their website.

In addition Cregneash Village is one of 26 registered Dark Sky Discovery Sites on the Isle of Man. The stargazing site is located at the picnic area, in front of the Creg y Shee Café. http://www.darkskydiscovery.org.uk/
