Accessibility:

There is signposted on-road parking available to Port Erin Railway Station which is situated right next to a flattened pavement going into the main building. Please be aware that the on-road parking facilities only allow up to 90 minute stay and return prohibited for 2 hours.

There are 2 double doors with handles going through the main entrance and inside the building you will find disability toilets as well as nappy-changing facilities.

Bicycles can be taken on board the train subject to a small fee and space availability. 


Brief Description:

Port Erin Steam Railway Station was built in 1874 and still retains many of its original features. It covers a total of 15 miles between Douglas and the south of the Island and it open to visitors all year round.

On-road parking facilities available as well as nappy changing and disability toilet facilities available inside the station.

There is a Cafe (Whistle Shop Cafe) also situated inside the building which offers a variety of hot and cold drinks and food and a variety of cake selections. 

A range of amenities are also available in the village of Port Erin including shops, cafe's, Railway Museum and a beautiful sandy horseshoe bay right next to the harbour.
