Accessibility:
This church is used regularly by the local community and offers on road parking facilities in front of the building. It is open daily (during daylight hours) and there are toilet, disability toilet & nappy changing facilities available to the public situated inside the building.
Leading up to the main gate is the public tarmacked road which is fairy wide however, there is no pavement or pathways, so please be aware of oncoming traffic. Once you arrive at the gate entrance you will see a flat pathway but there is a small 2 cm step as you enter the grounds to be weary of.
There are 2 main entrances into the building, one on your left as you enter the grounds which consists of a fairly narrow doorway and 2 large stone steps. The other follows the pathway into a ramped entrance with hand rails for assistance.
Once you enter the building the floors are flat throughout and rooms accessible other than a small 3cm step going into the school room.

The St James Dalby Church was built in 1839 as a church and a school. It is no longer used as a school and is one of the smallest churches on the island but offers a very warm welcome. It's situated on the scenic west coast overlooking the sea and is bursting with community value. It also offers a huge range of activities for local residents as well as visitors.
