Accessibility:

There is unrestricted on-street parking around three sides of the church. There is ramped access into the church and it is generally wheelchair accessible. There are toilets including wheelchair-accessible facilities. A hearing induction loop system is in place.


Brief Description:

The tower and spire of St Catherine’s Church are medieval, and the rest of the church was built between 1850 and 1852. It underwent a restoration programme in the 1980s and 1990s. It is a Grade II Listed Building. It features stained glass windows and has six bells, three of which were cast with the financial help of the Ringing in the Millennium National Lottery Fund in 1998, these three bells have inscriptions from Tennyson’s "In Memorium" on them.
