There is free parking after 6pm in the Sackville Street car park across the road from the Theatre. There is level access into the theatre and ramped access inside the theatre. There are designated spaces for wheelchair users, and companions may sit with you. There are public toilets including a wheelchair accessible toilet. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Brief Description:

Built in 1792 Barnsley Westgate Methodist Church opened in 1794 to Wesleyan Methodists. They vacated the building in 1846 and it was then sold to Primitive Methodists in 1868. It closed as a place of worship in 1948 and became derelict. It is now home to The Lamproom Theatre which hosts plays, musicals, family entertainments and pantomimes. Its first production was in 1999.
