There is pay and display parking available in Church Street. There is level access into the church and it is generally wheelchair accessible. There are toilets on site.


Brief Description:

The early foundations of St Mary’s Church date back to the 8th Century, and the tower is from the 15th Century. The present building is from the 19th Century, and the war memorial chapel was built in 1919. It is a Grade II Listed Building. Within St Mary’s Church is a Father Smith Organ Case. Father Smith was appointed royal organ building by King Charles II. It is also home to a stained glass window which was installed to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
