Brief Description:

King William's College was opened in August 1833. To begin with the college had six staff members and 46 pupils. Today it has nearly 600. The estate which was let for £20 a year in 1668, is now valued at £16.6 million pounds. It is an independent boarding school for children aged 11-18.

Situated 1.2 miles NE of Castletown centre. Head N on Malew Street and  turn right onto A5. At roundabout take 1st exit onto Victoria Road/A5. At next roundabout take the 1st exit, and continue on A5. In approx. 0.2 miles, turn right onto unnamed road. The college will be directly ahead of you. OS SC227731 .
