Shakespeare's New Place is fully accessible with level access to the Great Garden, Knot Garden and a lift allows access to the Exhibition Centre on the upper floor.  The Great Garden has a level pavement running around the grounds.  Disability/baby-changing facilities are located at the property.  Downloadable access guides are available for the property.  Assistance dogs are permitted at the property.

There is no designated car park at property.  Pay and Display car parks are located nearby and disability parking for Blue Badge holders is available in Chapel Street.

Brief description:

Shakespeare's New Place stands on the site of the family home from 1597 until Shakespeare death in 1616, it was later demolished in 1759.  The Garden, designed by Ernest Law, is a registered site and allows visitors to immerse and discover its important connection with Shakespeare.  Within the grounds there are a number of artworks and exhibitions and displays about life during the Shakespeare Family occupation of the original house.
