Southend Victoria Train Station (end terminus of branch line off the Great Eastern Main Line running from Shenfield to Southend) is a very short walk from the Gallery and an approximate 4 minute walk over some 200 metres from station to Gallery.  Buses from several outlying areas stop nearby outside the train station so the Gallery is well served by public transport.  Disability car parking is available at the rear of the neighbouring Southend Central Museum and general car parking available in the Beecroft car park located immediately north of the Beecroft Art Gallery and approximate 2 minute walk away (see photos for car parking costs as at June 2019).  Southend Central train station on the separate C2C line from London Fenchurch Street to Southend is located in the High Street Southend-on-Sea and approximately a 10-12 minute walk away

A disability toilet is located at ground floor level of the building along with general male and female toilets.  A small cafe is available in the Art Gallery and another in the nearby Southend Council Civic Centre.  Numerous shops and places to eat are available in the nearby town centre, the northern end of the main High Street and the Victoria Shopping Centre being approximately 6-7 minute walk away to the south of this building.
