There is a gated entrance to the church yard with a small step through the gateway. Pathway to the church is laid to gravel and further pathways through the grounds are a mixture of grass and brick/stone. There is a slight lip/ramped step through the doorway to the church. The church is light and airy with a stone laid floor. Steps to alter area.
Brief Description:
The Church of St Laurence Affpuddle has been built, rebuilt, and repaired over a period of close to a thousand years, by land owners, a religious house and three families. The earliest parts of the church date back to around 1230 AD. It holds four bells that are all rung by a chiming mechanism. No toilets located at this venue.

Situated 3.3 miles from Bere Regis. Take A35 NW from Bere Regis towards Dorchester/Tolpuddle/Puddletown. After 1.7 miles take exit toward Crossways/Affpuddle/Tolpuddle, then turn left onto Dorchester Road. After 0.2 miles turn right onto B3390. In 0.8 miles the church will be on your right hand side .
