Accessibility:
There is a very narrow layby painted onto the road outside the front of the chapel with some on-street parking available on the same side of the road. The other side of the road has double yellow lines. There are two gates into the chapel grounds - the one to the left is a single concrete step onto a gravel path, while the one to the right has three concrete steps onto a tarmac path. The chapel entrance has a three inch stone step to negotiate.
Brief Description:
Tabernacl Capel Yr Annibynwyr is a large chapel built with its gable end and entrance facing the B4328. A plaque above the door states that the chapel, which is rendered stone under a slate roof with an attractive painted road-facing frontage, was constructed in 1878.
The interior contains box pews at ground level and a three sided gallery supported on posts with a steeply raked seating area at the gable end.
It is used as a community hub and holds services and events regularly. See the Facebook page for regular updates.
