The university has taken steps to provide access for all, however some areas may still be difficult for wheelchair users.


Brief Description:

The City campus is the main administration and support centre for the university. It has Olympic standard sporting facilities, state of the art library, living labs, world famous pharmacy school and newly established school of nursing. The university has a designated support team for students with disabilities and learning difficulties.

Directions:

Situated 0.8 miles South of Roker. Head West on Roker Baths Road, turn left onto Brandling Street, and left again onto Givens Street. Continue to the end of the road and turn right onto Harbour View/A183. Contiune to follow the A183 and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to stay on A183 and take the first or second left, which both lead you onto St Peter's Way which will lead you directly to the campus.

Transport:

Bus services operate in and around the area and stop along St Peter's Way, just along from the campus. St Peter's Metro Station is the closest to the campus and is situated a 10 minute walk/0.5 mile away. The closest train station to the campus is Sunderland Station which can be found 0.9 miles SW of the campus.


Amenities:

Many amenities can be found along the main A1018 West of the University and in Sunderland Town Centre.
