Accessibility:

The roads in and around the village are laid to tarmac with kerbed walkways. Some of the roads are set on inclines. The coastal road to Douglas has pull in bays and parking at certain points. Street parking available, on majority of roads around the village. Good accessibility throughout the streets with ample paving and drop kerbs along the pavements. Easily accessible petrol station. There is parking outside most shops along the main A2.

Brief Description:

Onchan Village has the second largest population on the Isle of Man. It has many tourist attractions including Onchan Pleasure Park, where you can find crazy golf, putting, motor boats, bumper boats and stock car racing on certain days during the summer months. There are also three Manx national glens, Groudle Glen, Molly Quirks Glen and Bibaloe Walk. The Onchan Wetlands are a short walk away from the shopping centre, off of Church Road on the main A2 road into Onchan. There you can find nearly 100 different species of flowering plants. Onchan Harbour is situated approximately 0.6 miles/ 3 mins car drive from the A2.

Situated 3 miles SW of Baldrine. Head SW on A2 and continue for 3 miles. Turn right onto Church Avenue and this will lead you into Onchan Village. OS SC398782.
