Accessibility:

There is parking at the site of the skywalk with a short walk to the glass-bottomed viewing platform. The area is wheelchair accessible with a slight hill down to the viewing area. There are a few steps down onto the glass viewing platform itself but the panoramic view and cliff bottom view can be seen without going onto the glass platform. There are toilets on site.

Brief Description:

Cabo Girão skywalk is at the top of the second highest sea cliff in the world - 580 metres above sea level. It’s a popular lookout point with spectacular panoramic views and a glass-bottomed platform - at the bottom of which you can see the sea and some cultivated land, known as Fajãs do Cabo Girão, which helps to illustrate how high up you are.
