Accessibility:

The closest car park is the Castle Car Park on Tower Street which includes blue badge parking bays. There is ramped access to the main entrance. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible and there is a platform lift which serves both floors. Staff will need to be notified to use the lift and they are trained to use it. There is a weight limit on the lift so motorised wheelchair users will need to send their scooter up/down and then either walk or use the lift after. There are public toilets including wheelchair accessible facilities. Staff do receive disability awareness/equality training. Assistance dogs are welcome.
