There is free on-street parking for blue badge holders. Access is level pavement with a push button panel to open the doors. Hearing induction loop is in operation during church services. Assistance dogs are permitted. The disability/baby changing facilities are situated near the south doors and is only available during times of church services. A public toilet (Radar Key) can be found in the Theatre Gardens.
Brief description:
The current limestone church was began in 1210 and takes the shape of a cross. Early history records suggest a church occupied the site as early as 845. The avenue which approaches the church is lined with lime trees, believed to represent the twelve Apostles. William Shakespeare was baptised, worshiped and is buried at the church and whose grave can be visited. A suggested donation of £4 per adult is requested for entry into the church.
