Accessibility:

All areas of Stratford-upon-Avon are easily accessible by car and by foot.  There are designated disability parking areas and several car parks available in the town centre. The town centre also has a pedestrian area with flat easy access to other places of interest.

Access to Hall's Croft House is via a small step from street level at the main entrance.  A ramp is available on request. There is no access to the upper floor for wheelchair users.  A disability toilet is available in the garden. The gardens are mostly wheelchair friendly with ramps and seating areas available. Hearing loop, large print guides and a courtesy wheelchair are also available.  The shop and cafe are accessible via a ramp, assistance is available.  


Brief description:

Hall's Croft House is a Grade I listed half-timbered building which was once owned by Susanna Hall (William Shakespeare's daughter) and her husband Dr. John Hall and is furnished with 16th and 17th furniture and paintings. The property also includes a walled garden planted with many types of plants that Dr. John Hall may have used in his treatments and surgery.

From Tourist Information Centre, Bridge Street, take the A3400 into Waterside, into Old Town.

Opening Times:

Open daily 10.00 am - 4.00 pm.

Admission charges apply : Adult - £8.50; Concession - £8.00; Child - £5.50; Family - £22.50.  A discount applies when purchasing tickets online.
