There is parking directly in front of the aquarium, which includes disability spaces. Most areas of the aquarium are accessible with a wheelchair, but there are a few steps in places. There are toilet facilities nearby along the sea front, but they may have a usage charge.
Brief Description:
The aquarium is located within the old fort of Saint John the Baptist. The exhibit consists of twelve tanks which represent the sea life of the Madeiran island, including sharks and stingrays.
